2026 Summer Intern, Business Finance at ICF, Remote Role In USA (Apply Before 19 January 2026)

ICF, a global consulting and technology services company dedicated to making a positive impact on the world, is hiring for its 2026 Summer Internship Program. They are looking for a Business Finance Intern to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain entry-level experience in corporate finance. The program runs for 10 weeks starting in Early June 2026. What makes this unique is the flexibility: you can work Hybrid (2 days/week from the Reston, VA headquarters) OR fully Remote from anywhere in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

As an intern, you will work with management to prepare high-quality materials to help manage the business. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

1. Analysis & Reporting

• Financial Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis using a variety of software tools.
• Reporting: Assist in formulating, developing, and supporting reporting needs for the business unit.
• Periodic Reviews: Assist with the preparation of supporting analysis for periodic financial reviews.

2. Operational Support

• Complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure proprietary and confidential information is protected.

Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply?

ICF has specific requirements due to the nature of their government contract work.

1. Citizenship & Location (Strict)

• Citizenship: Candidate must be a US Citizen (Required per contract requirements).
• Residency: Must reside in the U.S. and be authorized to work in the U.S.

2. Academic Status

• Credits: By the start date (June 2026), you must have completed a minimum of 30 college-level credit hours (roughly equivalent to finishing your Freshman year).
• Major: Preference for students majoring in Finance, Business, Economics, or related subjects.

3. Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is crucial.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Compensation & Logistics

• Pay Rate: Expected to be $23.00 per hour.
• Duration: 10 Weeks (Full-time).
• Housing: ICF is unable to provide relocation or housing assistance. If you choose the Hybrid option in Virginia, you must arrange your own housing. Remote interns work from home.
