This person will guide the sales process, building relationships with existing and prospective customers and ensure a seamless customer experience. Main Tasks & Responsibilities Making outbound calls to our existing database of customers. Discussing and providing quotations for the full product range. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through effective communication. Understanding customers product needs by generating and closing new and existing leads. Utilise Salesforce for tracking sales activities, opportunities, customer interactions and reporting on sales performance. Conduct product campaigns to generate new business leads. Achieving set KPIs on a weekly & monthly basis. Accurately process orders using Orderwise for your customer base, maximising sales opportunities via upselling and cross selling. Work in partnership with the warehouse and other departments, to track and make amendments to orders and ensure orders progress where necessary. Build and maintain own product awareness and identify areas of product training where necessary. Key Skills Architectural Ironmongery knowledge prefered along with GAI qualifications. Proven experience building relationships in an outbound sales role. Experience using IT systems such as Orderwise and Salesforce is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively on the phone. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, providing proactive problem-solving solutions.
