Core Responsibilities: Policy and Chapter Development
- Organizational Management: Lead the creation of the core operations and policy manual to ensure institutional memory and adherence to LPS fundamental values.
- Research & Policy Drafting: Conduct foundational and core research, perform comparative law analysis (US/EU), and draft official Policy Rectification Proposals (legislative text or regulatory changes).
- Digital Archive: Design and build a free, searchable digital archive (Knowledge Base) of all LPSC research for future students and the public.
- Mentorship Program: Build a preliminary contact list of legal professionals and alumni to launch future mentorship and career development programming.
- FAU Chapter Track: Tasks focused on synthesizing final reports, drafting the Executive Summary, and training to lead the new FAU chapter.
- Data & Visualization: Lead targeted data sourcing, create the objective Factual Landscape narrative, and develop ethical, impartial data visualizations for the public report.
Eligibility and Mandatory Requirements
LPS welcomes all interested candidates but offers a specific track for FAU students.
Required Qualifications (Mandatory)
- Time Commitment: Willingness to commit approximately 3–5 hours per week.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, legal research, and policy development capabilities.
- Collaboration: Ability to collaborate virtually on projects.
- FAU Track: Must be a current FAU student to qualify for the specific FAU Student Track.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in organizational management and networking skills.
