Position: Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Engineer Company: Independent Forgings and Alloys Ltd About the Company: Unrivalled forging capabilities. Through our extensive forging capabilities and processes, we offer a fully integrated metals service centre: from ingot/billet and forging through to fully tested and released machined products. With the acquisition in November 2019 of Doncasters Precision Forge, we are proud to be able to say that we’re the only forge with open-die ring rolling, press forging, hammer forging and rotary forging, and now closed-die forging, drop stamps and extrusions located on a single site. Our expertise lies in alloy supply and sourcing, high integrity open and closed die precision forge production, heat treatment, critical inspections, metallographic examinations and mechanical testing and machining to customer requirements. We have an extensive knowledge of industry and customer specific manufacturing specifications, accumulated through years of practical experience. We have on-site technical resource of metallurgists and production engineers to guide and assist customers with their forging requirements.
