Role Responsibilities: What Will You Do?
You won't just be staring at spreadsheets; you will be telling the story of flight research through data. Your work will support technical, financial, and risk assessments for major flight projects. Core responsibilities include:
Getty Images Explore- Dashboard Creation: You will build data-driven dashboards (using Power BI) to provide real-time status updates on project elements.
- Automation: You will link raw data from MS Project and Excel to automatically update PowerPoint slides, ensuring leadership always sees current data.
- AI Integration: As a bonus, you may get to use AI tools (like ChatGPT GOV) to generate summaries and highlights from emails and team sources.
- Metric Development: You will assist in developing metrics to measure the quality and performance of project execution.
Eligibility and Mandatory Requirements
NASA is looking for creative and motivated applicants. The eligibility is broad regarding academic level, but strict on citizenship.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Citizenship: You must be a United States Citizen.
- Academic Level: Open to Undergraduates (Freshman through Senior), Graduate Students (Master's/PhD), and even Post-Docs.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables).
- Power BI and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with MS Project and Databases.
- Tableau is desired but not mandatory.
