What you'll do
Docusign is excited to offer an Engineering Internship to a driven and innovative college student. The intern will be able to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to real-world projects that drive our business forward. This position will introduce the intern to various technologies, including NodeJS, Python, AZURE Cloud Services ( Kubernetes, event hubs, logic apps, redis) and provide a platform for applying and expanding their knowledge in Backend Design, Workflow Systems and Managing Infrastructure concepts.
This team builds the No-Code Business Process Automation framework that allows customers to design agreement workflows without writing code. As an Engineering Intern on the Maestro team, youโll help build and enhance a no-code workflow automation platform that allows users to easily create and deploy customized agreement processes.
This is an individual contributor position reporting to the Director, Software Engineering.
Responsibility
Assist in developing and maintaining platform services and features using NodeJS, Python, and AZURE technologies
Collaborate with our engineering teams to design, implement, and deploy applications to Kubernetes
Write clean, maintainable, efficient code compliant with Docusign standards and best practices
Participate in code and design reviews, ensuring the quality and maintainability of our codebase
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments
Work closely with mentors and other team members to achieve project goals and meet deadlines
Engage in continuous learning and development in emerging technologies and platforms
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
Currently pursuing a masters degree in Computer Science
Will be graduating from program by December 2026 or June 2027
Experience with scripting languages such as NodeJS or Python
Preferred
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and eagerness to tackle complex challenges
Basic understanding of database concepts

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $48/hour - $59/hour
