Role Responsibilities: What Will You Do?
As a Production Assistant at NASA, you will help capture and transfer critical institutional knowledge. You won't just be editing videos; you will be preserving space history. Your core duties will include:
- Event Production: You will coordinate Subject Matter Expert (SME) lectures. This involves securing recording studios, managing props, and setting up lighting and furniture.
- Video & Quality Control: You will assist in filming and editing video productions. You will also review presentation charts and biographies for quality.
- Archiving: You will help locate, index, and archive historical space-related hardware and electronic records.
- Outreach: You will communicate with other NASA centers and divisions to share knowledge and advertise events.
Eligibility and Mandatory Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications
- Citizenship: You must be a United States Citizen.
- Academic Status: You must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior).
