Role Responsibilities: What Will You Do?

As a Trust and Safety Intern, you will be on the front lines of platform security. Your work will directly impact user trust. Core responsibilities include:

  • Risk Monitoring: You will help develop processes to monitor user risk, perform manual account reviews, and manage escalations related to suspicious activity.
  • Tool Development: You will collaborate with Engineering teams to build better tools for moderation and account review.
  • Policy Implementation: You will work with Legal and Security teams to investigate fraud patterns and draft new abuse policies.
  • Incident Response: You will respond to high-priority escalations regarding account access and user behavior, sometimes participating in on-call rotations.
  • Data Analysis: You will use SQL to query data and investigate security questions independently.

Eligibility and Mandatory Requirements

Notion is looking for analytical problem-solvers who can communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams. To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:
