The Dakshana Foundation has released the official notification for the Joint Dakshana Scholarship Test (JDST) 2026. This scholarship is a life-changing opportunity exclusively for Class XII students studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs).

Selected scholars will receive a 100% scholarship for a one-year residential coaching program at the Dakshana Valley, Pune. This includes free coaching for JEE/NEET, along with food and accommodation. The final selection test is scheduled for December 14, 2025.

Selection Process: Step-by-Step

The selection for the Dakshana 1-Year Program is rigorous. Students must navigate the following stages:

• Shortlisting: Students are first shortlisted based on their Class XII Term-1 results (uploaded by schools).
• Application: Shortlisted students must fill out the Scholar Application Form.
• Mock Test: A mandatory Mock Test will be held on November 30, 2025. All invited students must participate to test the app and their device.
• JDST 2026 (Final Exam): The main exam takes place on December 14, 2025.
• Interview: Candidates who clear the written test will be called for an interview and document verification.

Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

The JDST 2026 will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Marking Scheme: +5 Marks for every correct answer. -2 Marks for every incorrect answer (Negative Marking). 0 Marks for unattempted questions.

Subjects Covered: The test includes four sections: Physics, Chemistry, Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics (for Engineers) or Biology (for Doctors).
