Who Is Eligible?
Eligibility for this scholarship is unique because it is tied to UPI membership and livestock marketing. To qualify, applicants must be a 2026 high school graduate planning to attend college or technical school. Additionally, you must fall into one of these categories:
- Members: You are a member of UPI (defined as someone who marketed at least one head of livestock at UPI in 2025).
- Family of Members: You are the child or grandchild of a UPI member.
- Non-Members (Nominated): If you are not a member, you can still apply IF you work for a current UPI member on their farm/agricultural operation and receive a nomination from them.
