What Will You Do?

As a UTRIP intern, you will experience real graduate-school life in Japan. You won't just be visiting; you will be researching. Your core activities will include:

Eligibility Criteria

UTRIP is highly competitive and open to students from all nationalities (except Japanese citizens/students in Japan). To qualify, you must:

• Education Status: Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in natural sciences or related fields at a university outside Japan.
• Year of Study: Have completed at least one full year of your Bachelor's degree.
• Future Plans: Must return to your home university for at least one more term after the internship.
• Commitment: Be able to commit to the full 6-week duration (June 24 – August 4).
• Language: Have English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS required if English is not your first language, unless you have 8+ years of English-medium education).

Financial Support and Benefits
