Internship Overview & Key Details

Role Responsibilities: What Will You Do?

As an intern, you will work closely with senior-level statisticians and real-world data experts. This is a hands-on learning experience where you will contribute to high-level research. Your core tasks will include:

• Study Design & Analysis: You will assist in the design and analysis of clinical trials, observational studies, and epidemiology research.
• Data Programming: You will perform statistical analysis and data review tasks using industry-standard software.
• Technical Stack: You will utilize SAS, R, Python, and/or other statistical software on a UNIX platform.

Eligibility and Mandatory Requirements

Astellas Pharma is looking for advanced graduate students with strong technical skills. To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:

Mandatory Qualifications

• Academic Status: You must be a PhD candidate in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, epidemiology, or a related discipline.
• Coursework: You must have completed at least two years of graduate-level coursework and be currently working on your dissertation.
• Work Authorization: You must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Skills: Good programming skills (SAS/R/Python) and strong communication abilities are essential.
