Role Responsibilities: What Will You Do?
As an Equal Opportunity Compliance Intern, you will handle sensitive and critical tasks related to campus safety and equity. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Outreach & Compliance: You will conduct outreach regarding allegations of discrimination and harassment under major federal laws like Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, and the ADA.
- Case Management: You will assist the Operations Coordinator with case intake and maintain accurate records using Maxient software.
- Resource Connection: You will connect individuals with necessary resources in accordance with the Clery Act and provide specific support to pregnant and parenting students.
- Confidentiality: You must ensure absolute confidentiality and sensitivity when handling cases, serving as a Campus Security Authority.
Eligibility and Mandatory Requirements
ACC is looking for candidates who can handle delicate situations with tact and diplomacy. To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory Qualifications
- Experience: You must have at least one year of experience working in an office environment.
- Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. (Associates or Bachelors degree in progress is preferred).
