Role Responsibilities: What Will You Do?

As an Import/Export Intern, you will support the daily operations of the logistics team. This is a practical, hands-on role. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Shipment Management: You will assist with international shipments by preparing labels, tracking deliveries, and coordinating small sample projects.
  • Trade Compliance: You will learn to assign HTS codes, confirm Country of Origin, and assist with ACE export filings under supervision.
  • Problem Solving: You will monitor tracking updates, help resolve shipment issues, and file claims for lost or damaged goods.
  • Freight Processes: You will support Request for Quotes (RFQs), track spot quotes, and review invoices for accuracy.
  • Audits & Screening: You will gather data for compliance reviews and learn how "Denied Party Screenings" work.
