Role Responsibilities: What Will You Do?

This internship is hands-on and substantive. You will become familiar with three major legal divisions: Workers’ Claims, Workplace Standards, and Workplace Development. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Legal Research & Drafting: You will research laws, investigate facts, and prepare legal memoranda and documents.
• Document Review: You will gain experience reviewing briefs, pleadings, contracts, and handling open records requests.
• Live Proceedings: A major perk of this role is the chance to attend actual hearings, mediations, settlement meetings, and court proceedings.
• Leadership Engagement: You will work with cabinet leaders to understand how the agency is organized to provide top-tier legal services.

Eligibility and Mandatory Requirements
