Role Responsibilities: What Will You Do?

As an M&E Intern, you will be part of a team that tracks the effectiveness of education programs in war zones and disaster areas. Your work will directly support the ECW Annual Results Report. Key duties include:

• Data Analysis: Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data from grantee reports.
• Quality Assurance: Performing rigorous data quality checks and following up with program managers to ensure accuracy.
• Report Drafting: Assisting in drafting sections of the Annual Results Report, specifically focusing on strategic objectives and education outcomes.
• Research & Mapping: Conducting literature reviews and mapping evaluations to identify gaps and learning opportunities in the sector.

Eligibility Criteria

ECW is looking for candidates with strong analytical skills and a passion for humanitarian work. To qualify, you must meet the following requirements:

• Education: You must be currently enrolled in a Master’s program OR have graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within the last three years.
• Background: Academic background in Education, International Development, Humanitarian Aid, or Social Sciences.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel is essential. Experience with data analysis tools like R, STATA, Power Query, or Kobo is a huge plus.
• Language: Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of French or Spanish is an asset.
• Experience: Lived experience in a low-to-middle-income country is highly valued.
