Role Responsibilities: What Will You Do?

• Legislative Observation: You will observe the legislative process in-person at the Capitol during the General Session in January.
• Applied Research: You will conduct comparative policy analysis on critical topics such as AI regulation approaches and evidence-based policy design.
• Infrastructure Building: You will help design and maintain a research database to track tech innovation policy across local, state, and international jurisdictions.
• Data & Tools: You will use tools like Zotero and Notion to create stakeholder maps and research briefs.
• Framework Training: You will complete training in systems thinking and deliberative democracy.

Eligibility and Mandatory Requirements

This program is specifically designed for students currently studying in the state. To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:
