Internship Overview & Key Details

Role Responsibilities: What Will You Do?

As an intern on the Universe team, you will not just be testing code; you will be engineering quality into the product. You will work closely with developers to build a highly scalable platform. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Automation Strategy: You will help design and implement automation frameworks to meet critical business objectives.
• Test Execution: You will run automated tests, interpret complex results, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
• Pair-Programming: You will collaborate directly with talented developers to write better, more testable code.
• Continuous Improvement: You will identify gaps in current processes and implement new tools to streamline automation.

Eligibility and Mandatory Requirements

Live Nation is looking for independent self-starters who are ready to solve problems. To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Mandatory Qualifications

• Passion for Quality: You must demonstrate a strong interest in defining test plans and executing QA strategies (System, Integration, Performance, Regression).
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with testing tools and scripting languages such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, TypeScript, or JavaScript is essential.
• DevOps Knowledge: You should be familiar with CI/CD concepts and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, or Argo CD.
• Data Stores: Exposure to databases such as PostgreSQL, Mongo, Redis, Clickhouse, or Elasticsearch is required.
• Environment: You must be comfortable working in a macOS environment.
• Communication: High level of proficiency in English (verbal and written) is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of French is considered a plus.
